The Jump Start Program is a program designed for incoming freshman that need extra support in preparing for high school. Its focus is on academics, study skills, work habits and behavior. Currently, there are three programs installed seperately at Norwalk High, La Mirada High as well as John Glenn High. These are all high schools within the Norwalk La-Mirada Unified School District (NLMUSD) that Miguel will be visiting this summer. First up was Norwalk High that had over seventy-plus students divided in four groups scheduled March 31, 2015 throughout the morning. So it was indeed a busy morning for the Dream Big Project, but definitely a successful one!
