Last week, Dream Big Project partnered with Youth Hope Summit to provide backpacks filled with school supplies and brand new shoes to students at Dolland Elementary School in Norwalk, CA. With the support of members of the community and volunteers, Dream Big was able to provide to and inspire more than 100 children by speaking to them about the importance of giving back to their communities
and discussing higher education. The students were ecstatic to a receive a backpack and supplies along with their new sneakers; many of them shared the universities they want to attend when they grow up
and the careers they would like to go into.
Youth and children hold the heart of Dream Big Project. This population is the future of our community, the generation that is being influenced the most. For this reason, we aspire to reach youth and children with a positive message that allows them to open their eyes to the possibilities; a message that instills kindness and empowerment within. We believe that through this, children will grow up to do the same for someone else.
