Dream Big Project Scholarships
Dream Big Project offers college tuition-assistance scholarships to high school students who will be attending community college, a private or 4-year university, trade school, or out-of-state school of Summer/Fall 2025. Dream Big Project also offers an emergency grant scholarship for undergraduate college students who require financial assistance with cost of attendance including emergency circumstances related to medical, housing, or vehicle of Spring 2025.

Application process
Each scholarship application can completed on paper and mailed to the Dream Big Project scholarship committee. Applications can also be submitted via email. The application deadline is April 4, 2025. Additional information regarding each scholarship can be found in the application. Applicants must submit all materials together in order for the application to be considered complete and reviewed by the Dream Big Project scholarship committee.
Applying for multiple
Please complete the scholarship application and address your unique qualifications for these scholarship awards. If applying for multiple scholarships, applicants must submit an application for each scholarship with appropriate materials. If appropriate application is not submitted, the applicant's application will not be considered complete and not reviewed by the Dream Big Project scholarship committee.

Dream Big Project scholarships are awarded to graduating high school seniors who have demonstrated academic achievement and commitment to community service, extracurricular activities, leadership, and higher education. Dream Big Project Scholars should also fully embody the DBP mission to positively impact their community and those around them.

2025 Ramiro and Lucy Gallegos Scholarship
Honoring the lifetime work of Ramiro and Lucy Gallegos, two selfless community leaders in the city of Norwalk, and husband and wife for 61 years, who have demonstrated commitment to volunteering and advocating for youth in their community, The Ramiro and Lucy Gallegos Scholarship is awarded to Norwalk High School graduates who resemble the giving spirit of Ramiro and Lucy Gallegos. Ramiro and Lucy Gallegos Scholars demonstrate the compassionate mission of Dream Big Project and the values of Ramiro and Lucy Gallegos. Please be sure to address your active participation in volunteering in your community and how the giving spirit of Ramiro and Lucy Gallegos aligns with your values and practices in the scholarship essay portion of the application.

The Inspirational Student Scholarship by EMFEE Professional Engineering is awarded to graduating high school seniors (class of 2024) with a 504 Plan or IEP. There is no G.P.A requirement for this particular scholarship. Community service experience is preferred, but not mandatory. The applicant must attend a high school in the Norwalk La Mirada Unified School District.
2025 Inspirational Student Scholarship
